We are looking for someone to become an important and integral part of the team. This is an ideal role for someone wanting to develop their knowledge in the food and drink manufacturing industry, specifically brewing premium non alcoholic drinks.

The role will specifically involve

Production Planning

Manage the monthly, weekly and daily production plan

Coordinate with Customer Demand Planning and Sales to ensure the demand plan correctly reflects required demand by product

Allocate resources to brewing, filtration, bottling and canning as appropriate

Set up the production tools in advance of production activities

Work with the Quality Manager and the team to refine or redevelop production SOPs and HACCP on a regular basis

Quality leadership

Work with the Director of Innovation and Quality Manager to define levels of quality across product and production activities

Ensure that the production team is trained in quality measures, follow SOPs and meet our high quality standards day to day

Ensure that the production team is fully data compliant in all production activities.

Policing production data on a regular basis

Purchasing / Stock Management

Ensure all production consumables are in stock at all times.

Work with purchasing, who will place orders

Work with the Warehouse to ensure all dry goods are available for production activities

Team Leadership

Line manager to the production team

Setup Goals, performance measures and KPI’s and manage using these

Coordinate, and lead where appropriate, training and development activities

Recruit permanent staff, inducting into the team

Coordinate with temp agency to ensure agency staff are on site, inducted and trained to meet production demand .

Manage morale, lead the team and be a role model to junior staff

Performance manage team members that are under-performing

Capacity planning

Work with the CEO, Operations Director and Process Engineer to map both long and short term capacity plans to ensure required equipment is in place to meet capacity requirements

Work with the Process Engineer to map in scheduled maintenance
