Site Manager Aylesbury

Danny Sullivan Group are searching for their next Site Manager to cover the HS2 utility diversion works in Aylesbury.

The ideal candidate for this role would have strong leadership skills with a strong understanding of water infrastructure projects, and the ability to manage large construction operations effectively. Must have AP and Slinger Signaller tickets.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate site activities, including the management of subcontractors, suppliers etc.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient project progression.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly adhered to. Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety briefings to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure works is compliant with client requirements.
  • Address any quality issues that arise.
  • Develop and manage the construction program, ensuring that all activities are scheduled effectively and are in alignment with project milestones and deadlines.
  • Liaise with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide regular updates on project progress.
  • Allocate resources effectively, including labour, materials, and equipment, to optimize productivity and maintain project schedules.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all site activity.
  • Monitor project costs to ensure that the project stays within the allocated budget.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to the site team to enhance performance.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Appointed Person qualification
  • Slinger Signaller ticket
  • CSCS/EUSR Card.
  • Relevant experience in similar role.
