Job Description:
Our clients are seeking skilled Security Cleared Commercial & industrial Plumbers / Mechanical Engineers / Pipe-fitters/ Sprinkler Engineers & Fitters / Gas & Heating / Drainage Engineers required for 1 year ++ long run of work on projects in the Berkshire / Buckinghamshire areas. The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of commercial heating systems and experience with pipe work, draining and ventilation installations in commercial offices and plant rooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct plumbing and pipe fitting tasks
- Perform leak and pipe repairs
- Change valves up to 4 inches
- Replace pumps and vessels
- Utilize threading machines and press tool equipment for pipe fitting
- Install and repair mechanical plant systems
- Work with various pipe materials (galvanized, iron, steel, copper, plastic, composite)
- Understand pumps, pressure vessels, DMZ valves, and mechanical maintenance of plate exchangers
- Troubleshoot heating and water distribution issues
- Perform emergency repairs and diagnose system faults
- Conduct commercial pipe fitting and isolation
- Install and service commercial pipework, pumps, and valves
Requirements:
- Qualified to City and Guilds/NVQ level in Plumbing/Heating
- CSCS Card
- Commercial Gas Qualifications (preferred)
- Confident working in commercial offices and plant rooms
- Relevant experience in a similar roles
Work Details:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Location: Site-based, West of London (Berkshire and Buckinghamshire) focusing on commercial office fit-out projects
Rate:
- £24 - 28 pr hr (dependent on experience)
