Our client is well-established and leaders in their field, they are recruiting for a Applications Engineer to join their growing team!
Senior Applications Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
- Complete mechanical designs or to work with a mechanical engineer to obtain optimal designs, complete products designs to clients expected standards
- Work with suppliers and their procurement team to ensure that material costs are highly competitive
- Ensure that appropriate internal and external resources are accessed to optimise project delivery
- Communicate with clients or potential clients as necessary to achieve project aims
- Support the training of less experienced staff in areas of expertise
The ideal Senior Applications Engineer will:
- Have an appropriate technical degree
- Ideally Chartered status or working towards Chartership
- A proven track record in working with commercial codes such as Aspen, HTRI or any other tool
- Proven track record in designing ABC, Steam heaters, S&T hexs or similar
- Experience of working with ASME VIII and other pressure vessel codes
- A proven track record in mentoring, leading and developing the team
Working Hours + Benefits:
- Monday - Friday: 08:30 - 17:00
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
