My well-established client in Haddenham is looking for a Technical Trainer - Automotive to join their team, to develop and deliver their technical training programme, and support the product range and dealer network.

Key requirements for this role:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of modern vehicle technology, preferably trucks
  • Hands-on experience of repair and maintenance techniques for modern vehicles or a relevant qualification
  • Excellent and adaptable communication skills
  • Experience in the design and delivery of technical training
  • Ability to plan and organise in order to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn
  • Flexible approach and excellent team working skills
  • Current driving license as occasional travel within the UK and Europe may be required
  • Passport required for occasional travel to Europe

In addition, the successful applicant will need plenty of drive and enthusiasm to motivate course delegates, as well as an understanding of the importance of customer/dealer personnel to the overall success of our business. An interest in the continuing improvement of training programmes and the assessment of course effectiveness and delegate performance are also essential.

The role is based full time in Haddenham, Monday to Thursday 8.45-17.15 and 8.45-16.45 on Friday with 1-hour lunch break.
