ROLE- Production TechnicianLOCATION- BuckinghamshireTERM- PermanentSALARY- £30,000-£38,000 per annum, depending on experienceMy client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for a Production Technician join their team in Buckinghamshire on a permanent basis.The Production Technician will ideally have the following attributes:
  • Experienced in a similar technical, hands-on Engineering position
  • Knowledge of testing within product development – testing to standards / defining your own testing
  • Experienced with prototyping and product development
  • A background in Manufacture
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to read engineering drawings and BOMs
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficient using MS Office
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management skills
  • Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary team
The Production Technician role will involve:
  • Mechanical testing and manufacture of a variety of components and equipment
  • Developing new and existing products
  • Handling compliance and test specifications
  • Working to procedures and instructions
  • Assisting the quality team with functional and visual inspection
  • Working to procedures and compliance standards
  • Testing, fault-finding and repair
  • Using CAD to produce technical drawings, reading, annotating, creating jigs, fixtures, and testing apparatus
  • Working both independently and in a team
  • Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues
