We are seeking experienced Midwives to join our Community Midwifery teams, caring for women and families at one of the Trusts in South East England. This role involves working with a dedicated and enthusiastic team of Community Midwives to deliver exceptional maternity care in various community settings.

Description:

This is an exciting time for our service, and we invite you to join our team to help shape our services and support women's choices in their place of birth. You should have completed a preceptorship program and achieved Midwifery competencies such as cannulation, water birth, and suturing. Participation in our on-call system for community midwifery is required. Each community team is supported by an experienced lead and works closely with the stand-alone Birth Centers in the area, offering opportunities to gain experience in these environments as well.

Skills & Experience:

  • Sound knowledge of recent Government/Professional documents and their implications for service provision.
  • Motivation to maintain professional development.
  • Ability to work in both acute and primary healthcare settings.
  • Previous community and hospital experience.
  • Flexible and innovative approach to practice, tailored to meet clients' individual needs.
  • Understanding of change management theories and their impact.
