Insparise is currently recruiting ITU Nurses to work on an ad hoc agency / locum basis.We provide a very high standard of staffing in various settings including private and NHS hospitals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health status and document findings.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans for patients.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions.
  • Provide direct patient care, including wound care, IV therapy, and other nursing procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients.

Skills

  • Proficient in medication administration with a strong understanding of pharmacology.
  • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to empathise and communicate effectively with patients and their families.
  • Solid knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to assess patient conditions accurately.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independence when required.
  • Critical thinking skills to make informed decisions regarding patient care.
