We are recruiting for an Estate Administrator to work on our client's stunning private estate based near Stokenchurch. Working in the office of a busy country estate, the successful candidate will have previous administrative experience and be able to work well in a close knit team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a unique environment and the role could grow for the right person. The successful candidate will be a quick learner, highly flexible with strong organisational skills able to support a busy office with a wide range of admin duties. They will also need to be confident, assertive, discreet with superb communication skills.

Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm, however there may be occasions where you will need to work out of hours for events, etc.

Some of the duties include

  • Answering the telephone in the Estate office
  • Checking and actioning emails
  • Open post, stamp and distribute Estate post
  • Estate property services administration, to include telephone line rental, internet, SKY, council tax, water, gas, etc and negotiating service renewal contracts
  • Booking contractors in, in conjunction with the Site and Security Manager
  • Estate staff holiday records to be maintained
  • Vehicle fleet administration. All servicing to be booked in in conjunction with the Site and Security Manager
  • Mobile phone account administration with associated paperwork
  • Estate petty cash management and monthly returns to accounts
  • Estate Health and Safety administration in conjunction with the Estate Health and Safety Adviser
  • Manage staff training schedule and book training
  • Ordering for house and departments as required and reconciliation of associated paperwork to accounts
  • Assisting Principals as and when required, to include:
  • Assisting Principals as and when required, to include:
    • General administration tasks
    • Booking flights/taxis/transport
    • Liaising with staff for driving tasks
    • Instructing staff as required
    • Booking restaurants
    • Event organisation
    • Assisting with Estate shoots
    • Dogs - vets, boarding, etc.
    • Parcel returns/drop off
    • Errands to and from the family house
