3.5 Tonne Driver

InstaStaff are currently recruiting for 3.5 tonne Drivers to join a distribution and delivery company based in Aylesbury.

You will be driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle, delivering customers orders to their houses and office sites, route plans are put together for your daily.

The shifts are 5 days on and 3 days off, the days will be on a rota basis, with two 30-minute breaks, morning, and afternoon.

A DBS check will be required for this role.

The duties of the 3.5 tonne Driver includes:

• Lifting heavy items and completing a multi-drop driving role
• Ensuring the right products get to the right places at the right time
• Making every customer encounter memorable. Yes, you will need to love supporting the driver and being on the road, but you will need to love helping customers too.
• Following a delivery route
• Pre calling customers before arrival
• Filling in paperwork as and when required
• Removing all packaging from each delivery

The ideal 3.5 tonne Driver will have:

• Experience within a similar role
• The ability to lift heavy items
• Communicate with customers
• A clean DBS

The hours of work for the 7.5 tonne Driver are 5 days on 3 days off, the working days cover any 5 over Monday – Sunday, you must be available to work between the hours of 7am - 6pm (45 hours per week), if the deliveries are completed early, you will finish early, as long as no one else needs support.

The salary for the 3.5 tonne Driver will be £12.40 per hour
