About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive primary school in Aylesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team that values creativity, collaboration, and the holistic development of every child.

As a Key Stage 2 Class Teacher, your responsibilities will include creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment where every pupil is encouraged to thrive. You'll inspire young minds and foster a love for learning through a well-rounded curriculum, ensuring each child achieves their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fully plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning
  • Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing feedback to ensure continued development
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning atmosphere
  • Communicate regularly with parents and carers, providing updates on pupils' progress and achievements
  • Contribute to the wider school community and participate in school events and activities
  • Support the continued development of school initiatives and teaching practices

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with high expectations for pupils' achievement and behaviour
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work collaboratively with staff and parents
  • Well-organised and able to plan and deliver effective lessons with excellent classroom management
  • Proven track record of improving pupils' progress and attainment
  • Commitment to the development of the whole school and a willingness to engage in professional development
