This is an excellent role for someone with a keen eye for detail and interested in playing a major role in an exciting and ambitious business.What You'll Be Doing:* Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality assurance procedures to ensure full compliance with food safety regulations and industry best practices.* Oversee the entire production process - from raw materials to finished goods - conducting regular inspections, tests, and audits to maintain quality at every stage.* Identify areas for process and product enhancements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and strengthen overall quality standards.* Collect, review, and analyse quality data and metrics to spot trends, highlight areas for improvement, and support data-driven decision-making.* Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to assess, qualify, and monitor supplier performance, ensuring all products meet approved specifications.* Arrange and coordinate internal and external audits, including quarterly Product Knowledge Guide Audits, reporting any findings and ensuring swift corrective actions.* Investigate product quality issues raised by customers, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventative measures.* Educate and guide staff on quality control processes, food safety standards, and best practices, fostering a strong quality-first culture across the team.* Maintain accurate records of quality checks, audit reports, COAs, and other key documentation to support traceability and regulatory compliance.* Quickly troubleshoot any food safety or quality-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production and consistently high product standards.About you:* Experience in a similar role within food manufacturing is required* Access to your own transport* Full UK working rights (no sponsorship available)If you believe you have the skills and personality to fit these requirements please either apply via this advert or call Henderson Brown on for more information.
