Job Title: Project Manager
Reporting to: Senior Building surveyor

This is achieved by focusing on maximising efficiencies to save clients time and money. Due to ongoing success and growth, the team is expanding the professional Surveying and Project Management department.

The Role and Responsibilities:
Oversee procurement and delivery of various construction, mechanical, and electrical projects, including:

  • New build schemes
  • Fire door renewals
  • Cladding and window renewals
  • New heating and ventilation systems
  • Electrical distribution upgrades (power, general and emergency lighting)
  • Conduct feasibility studies and condition surveys
  • Perform defect analysis and measured surveys
  • Write specifications and manage contracts
  • Administer projects and act as employer's agent
  • Undertake site inspections and chair meetings
  • Provide progress reports, including financial monitoring statements
  • Support and mentor surveyors aiming for MRICS qualification
  • Participate in annual bonus scheme and staff social events.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • To be successful for this role you will hold an RICS accredited Building Surveying degree (or similar) and have gained experience working within a Surveying consultancy environment. Experience gained working with education projects is preferred. Demonstrable experience within project management and contract administration is essential. You'll be motivated with a positive attitude and enjoy working with others. The role will be based in the office and will include visiting sites.
