Role and Responsibilities

This trainee role is designed for someone eager to learn the foundations of financial services while contributing to our business transformation. While you will assist with administrative tasks initially, the role will expand to offer career progression and deeper involvement in financial planning. 

You will: 

  • Gain hands-on experience in financial administration, working closely with experienced professionals. 
  • Assist with tasks such as organising client files, handling data entry, and helping clear a backlog of administrative tasks. 
  • Communicate with clients and professional associates, ensuring excellent service and building lasting professional relationships. 
  • Use innovative tools like AI transcription and workflow automation to streamline tasks and improve efficiency. 
  • Receive full support to begin working towards professional qualifications (CII, CISI) and gain exposure to key areas like financial planning processes and cash flow forecasting. 

The candidate

This is a perfect role for someone at the start of their career or transitioning into financial services. No extensive experience is required-just the right attitude and willingness to learn. 

You should be: 

  • Motivated to build a long-term career in financial services. 
  • Comfortable with basic IT systems (Microsoft Office, particularly Word & Excel) and open to learning new tools. 
  • Able to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently. 
  • A team player, yet capable of working independently. 
  • Have a working understanding of social media marketing
  • Keen to gain industry qualifications and grow within the company. 
  • Ideally have some experience in a trainee administrator or paraplanner role and understand the accuracy this industry demands.
