MERJE is seeking a Credit Rating and Research Manager for a leading Life & Pensions Firm. The Role

Key Responsibilities of the Credit Rating and Research Manager:

  • Develop and maintain risk and rating frameworks for various asset classes
  • Conduct thorough analysis of liquid and private credit portfolios

  • Data management, identifying, designing and implementing internal process improvement
  • Contribute to the development of partial internal models for credit risk
  • Support the wider investment team and CIO as required
  • Ensure compliance with FCA and PRA conduct rules and standards

Required knowledge and experience for the Credit Rating and Research Manager role:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role or at a Ratings Agency
  • Strong understanding of credit risks and rating methodologies
  • Experience in asset management/investment or Rating agency industry
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of UK regulatory environment for life offices
