Alecto recruitment are currently recruiting for a mechanical vehicle Restoration technician on behalf of our client, A leader within the automotive induastry Specializing in Restoring, Tuning , Reparing , Servicing and Perfomance upgrades to High end sports cars

Due to their continued growth and increase demand they are looking for a talented Vehicle Restoration Technician to join our expert team. The successful candidate will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original or customized state, ensuring the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

• Complete Restoration: Perform full vehicle restorations, including disassembly, cleaning, repairing, and reassembly.
• Bodywork: Repair and replace body panels, straighten frames, and prepare surfaces for painting.
• Mechanical Restoration: Overhaul engines, transmissions, and other mechanical components to ensure they operate like new.
• Electrical Work: Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and instrument panels.
• Customization: Work with clients to customize vehicles to their specific desires, from performance upgrades to aesthetic changes.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure that all work meets our high-quality standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians, fabricators, and painters to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Documentation: Keep detailed records of all work performed, including parts used and techniques applied.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in vehicle restoration or a similar role.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in bodywork, painting, mechanical repairs, and electrical diagnostics.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of your work.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose complex issues and develop effective solutions.
• Passion for Automobiles: A deep appreciation for classic and vintage vehicles, with a drive to restore them to perfection.
• Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in automotive repair, bodywork, or restoration are highly desirable.
