Sales Engineer - Pro AudioLocation: United Kingdom (Remote / Field based)Salary: £50K - £55K | OTE £60K+

Job Overview:

As a Sales Engineer specialising in Pro Audio, you will collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to provide technical support throughout and after the sales process. You'll be representing brands such as Electro-Voice and Dynacord while contributing to pre-sales, design, and post-sales support. Your role will involve working with resellers, integrators, and consultants to drive product demand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and evaluate sound system projects, recommending appropriate product solutions.
  • Develop system designs, including acoustic simulations and IP-based audio networking, while generating reports and bill of materials.
  • Provide both pre-sales training and post-sales technical support to customers.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through high-quality technical support.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for installed sound systems.
  • Assist customers with equipment integration and setup.
  • Drive product demand through the Pro AV network, including resellers, integrators, and consultants.
  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and provide in-depth information on products and services.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product management to suggest product improvements based on customer feedback.
  • Share insights throughout the product lifecycle, from planning and design to integration and management.
  • Assess and address customer concerns and project requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Experienced within a technical sales / sales engineer position or a strong audio design and commissioning background.
  • Proficiency in acoustic design and IP-based audio networking, using advanced design software.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Pro Audio market.
  • Familiarity with AV integration practises and services.
  • Strong understanding of acoustics, DSP, electronics, digital audio networking, and room control systems.
  • Ability to interpret project floor plans and system flow line drawings.
  • Expertise in audio commissioning techniques and software.
  • Willingness to travel regularly.
Package Details:
  • Salary: £50K - £55K (OTE £60K+)
  • Annual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays (rises to 28 days after 5 years of service)
