The Role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, we are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to support with:

  • Daily and month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, reporting and system administration.
  • Daily and monthly reconciliations: analysing and reconciling numerical data in relation tall transactions in accordance with deadlines, ensuring that accurate and timely financial data is maintained.
  • Liaison with other areas of the business to progress the resolution of queries.
  • Assist with accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and VAT returns.
  • Arrange payments of invoices, expense claims, and payment runs.
  • Reviewing daily Funding requirements to ensure that bank accounts are maintained to the agreed levels.
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties as required

About You:

We are looking for a highly organised individual with great attention to detail and numeracy skills. Able to problem solve and implement solutions to ensure tasks are completed to the required quality and deadlines. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with confidence to deal with external suppliers and other business areas. A team player, with highly flexible approach to work especially during key financial reporting periods. Positive, proactive, and eager to learn in a supportive environment
