The Role:-
Lead and develop the art department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning

Teach engaging and creative art lessons to KS3, KS4, and KS5 students

Oversee curriculum planning, assessment, and student progress tracking

Support and mentor colleagues within the department to enhance teaching quality

Work closely with school leadership to develop and implement departmental initiatives

Foster a positive and inspiring learning environment that encourages creativity

Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities

Ofsted-rated "Good" secondary school in South Bucks

Strong leadership team and a welcoming staff community

Excellent facilities, including well-equipped art studios and resources

A commitment to student achievement and personal development

Experienced art teacher with QTS or equivalent

Previous leadership or management experience within a department is desirable
