• Lead and develop the religious studies department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning

• Teach engaging and thought-provoking religious studies lessons to KS3, KS4, and KS5 students

• Oversee curriculum planning, assessment, and student progress tracking

• Support and mentor colleagues within the department to enhance teaching quality

• Work closely with school leadership to develop and implement departmental initiatives

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities

• Experienced religious studies teacher with QTS or equivalent

• Previous leadership or management experience within a department is desirable
