You will play a crucial role in ensuring that fire alarm systems are fully functional, compliant with industry standards, and meet the specific needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Carrying out final system tests and ensuring full system functionality.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to clients and on-site teams.
  • Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project completion.
  • Conducting training sessions for clients on the use and maintenance of their fire alarm systems.
  • Identifying and resolving any issues or faults during the commissioning process.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, including conventional, addressable, and wireless systems.
  • Relevant qualifications in fire alarm commissioning (e.g., FIA, BAFE).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel across London and the Home Counties.
  • Full UK driving license.
