Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Carrying out final system tests and ensuring full system functionality.
- Providing technical support and guidance to clients and on-site teams.
- Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Liaising with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project completion.
- Conducting training sessions for clients on the use and maintenance of their fire alarm systems.
- Identifying and resolving any issues or faults during the commissioning process.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, including conventional, addressable, and wireless systems.
- Relevant qualifications in fire alarm commissioning (e.g., FIA, BAFE).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel across London and the Home Counties.
- Full UK driving license.
