Childrens Services WorkerService care Solution are currently recruiting for a Childrens Services Worker in Buckinghamshire, for a Disability short break service out in the community.We are looking for a dynamic, passionate Childrens Services Worker to Provide support to children and young people with additional needs.Term time hours - 8.5 per week - to be worked over the following shifts: Saturday (all day), Tuesday or Thursday evenings 4pm - 9pm  School Holidays - 37 per week or adhoc basis between 8.45am - 5.15pm - rota/hours to be discussed at interview to meet the needs of the services  The role is paying £12.78 PAYE / £16 Umbrella per hourMain ResponsibilitiesAs a Childrens Services Worker, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing a high quality service to children, young people and their families, based on an assessment of need and is outcomes driven.
  • Deliver interventions to children, young people or families on a 1:1 basis or in a group setting, with appropriate direction.
  • Maintain effective working relationships and channels of communications with colleagues and with children, young people and families and where necessary encourage and promote involvement to achieve positive outcomes
  • Be alert to child protection and safeguarding issues and inform appropriate line managers of concerns in line with safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Retain accurate and contemporaneous records, using various IT systems to capture case details, outputs and outcomes as necessary and to produce written reports and present these as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
  • Experience working with Children with Disabilities
  • Enhanced DBS
