Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant

Contract Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Salary: 85-100 per day

Time Plan Education are seeking an enthusiastic and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and make a positive difference in the lives of SEN students.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs, both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and provide feedback on pupil progress.
- Support pupils with their emotional, social, and academic development.
- Collaborate with the school's SENCO and other staff to ensure all pupils' needs are met.
About You
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Be available to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
- Hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS check or be willing to apply for one.
- Have experience working with children with special educational needs (desirable but not essential).
- Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable, with excellent communication skills.
- Be passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
