Location: Aylesbury

Time Plan Education are seeking an enthusiastic and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and make a positive difference in the lives of SEN students.

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs, both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
  • Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and provide feedback on pupil progress.
  • Support pupils with their emotional, social, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with the school's SENCO and other staff to ensure all pupils' needs are met.

About You
To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Be available to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
  • Hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS check or be willing to apply for one.
  • Have experience working with children with special educational needs (desirable but not essential).
  • Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable, with excellent communication skills.
  • Be passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
