Key Responsibilities:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide one-on-one support for students with SEN, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs.
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and help implement targeted interventions to support students’ learning.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students to boost their confidence and engagement in lessons.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCo, and other professionals to deliver comprehensive support and track student progress.
- Encourage social interactions and help students participate actively in group activities, fostering inclusion and self-esteem.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN and helping them succeed.
- Ideally has experience working with children in an educational setting, though unqualified candidates with a strong interest in SEN support are encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is patient, empathetic, and nurturing, particularly when working with students who face additional challenges.
- Can adapt to diverse learning needs and provide personalized, effective support.
