About the school:
A reputable and inclusive school in Aylesbury, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Primary SEN Teacher to join their committed team. As an SEN Teacher, you will work collaboratively with the rest of the staff to ensure the schools teaching methods are aligned with national curriculum and sharing knowledge. The school place a strong sense of importance on a cooperative and positive working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing tailored learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student
- Providing a supportive and nurturing environment to foster academic and personal growth
- Collaborating with other educators, parents, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
- Using innovative teaching methods and resources to engage and motivate students with diverse learning needs
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, and adjusting strategies as necessary
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience working with children with special educational needs
- Strong understanding of SEN best practices and legal requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and think creatively
