Band 7 Non-Medical Prescriber Buckinghamshire£30 per hourSpencer Clarke Group are looking for a Band 7 Non-Medical Prescriber to be prescribing service for people who use alcohol and/or substances, delivering a minimum of 6 Non-medical prescribing sessions per weekRole Responsibilities:

  • To carryout alcohol and drug detoxification with service users
  • Develop and maintain effective liaison with other agencies including GPs, hospitals, Primary and Secondary care Physical and Mental health services (health and non-health staff), Pharmacies, ICB, Adult/Children social care, and housing organisations
  • Train and support other nursing and clinical staff medical staff in delivering health and wellbeing assessments specific to substance and alcohol use such as phlebotomy, ECGs, physical health assessment, vaccinations, BBV screening, sexual health assessment, basic observations.
  • To support the development of current information and promotional material available for service users, their families/carers, staff and other professionals.

Essential Requirements:

  • Independent Non-Medical Prescriber.
  • Nursing or Pharmacist qualification and a registered practitioner with NMC or GPC
