Fairhive is a non-profit affordable housing provider with ambition. We already provide affordable housing to more than 20,000 people in our community but we want to do more. That鈥檚 why we are striving to provide 1,000 additional homes by 2025.

As a Contract Surveyor at Fairhive you can expect to be in a dynamic role and to be an integral member of our Property team, providing support to the wider team to ensure the smooth running of the business.聽

About the Role,

We are looking for an ambitious individual with strong interpersonal skills who is able to multi-task to provide direction and support to the Planned Works Team.

On the Job you will:路

  • Act as contract administrator for planned maintenance and investment programmes.聽
  • Carry out property inspections, diagnosing remedial works
  • Carry out stock condition surveys including HHSRS surveys

About You,

We鈥檙e looking for someone who can take ownership of a variety of projects and who enjoys working with a diverse range of people. You will understand the importance of delivering an efficient and effective service to colleagues and customers.

For this role you will need:

A relevant degree or substantial relevant experience / MRICS / MCIOB

You will ideally have skills and attributes that include:

  • good communication skills both verbal and written路
  • attention to detail路
  • strong planning and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise路
  • the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined team,路
  • practical problem solving skills路
  • computer skills (MS Office)
