Salary: c. £40,000 + Commission (OTE £50,000 – £60,000) commission structure + use of company car + laptop/phone

Location: Southeast and commutable to Wingrave, HP22, 1-2 day per week

Full Time, Permanent or Monday to Thursday.

The role:

Working alongside the current highly skilled sales and customer service team, your focus will be to attract new business. You will have call on any potential new customers, domestic or commercial. You will be responsible for managing your diary and reporting on your KPIs.

The critical function of this position is building relationships with existing, lapsed, and especially new customers to promote, retain and sell a broad range of our services. In a field-based role, the individual will be expected to visit customers and prospects and be out of the office at least three days per week. They will be expected to attend the office near Leighton Buzzard one day per week.  Tasks include:

  • Respond to email or telephone enquiries, working with Account Managers to generate customer quotes and overseeing their preparation, distribution, and follow-up.
  • Recording all interactions with customers and prospects.
  • Ideally, you will have worked in a field-based or outbound sales role in the waste, skips, construction industries, schools and care homes. However, we will welcome applicants who have any direct B2B sales experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the waste industry.
  • A full, clean, UK driving license.
  • Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Influencing, negotiating effectively, and building relationships to increase sales.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Organised, able to prioritise and manage their workloads.

The person:

Responsible for securing new business, the ideal candidate will be energetic, determined, driven and hungry for success with a passion and energy for sales. Experience of tendering and winning contracts is a bonus.
