Premier Engineering is working with a well-established engineering company based in Aylesbury that is looking to hire a Fabricator. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in metal fabrication and welding.
The Fabricator will ideally have the following attributes:
- Previous experience as a Fabricator, Welder, or similar role.
- Strong skills in metal fabrication, including cutting, bending, and welding.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience working with materials such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
- Proficiency with fabrication tools and machinery, including presses, saws, and grinders.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Fabricating metal components and structures according to specifications.
- Operating workshop machinery and tools safely and effectively.
- Carrying out MIG, TIG, or ARC welding as required.
- Assembling and finishing fabricated parts to a high standard.
- Ensuring all work meets quality control and safety standards.
- Collaborating with engineers and production teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
