We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Health & Social Care and Childcare to join our team at the Aylesbury Campus. This role offers the opportunity to shape the educational experience of students in these critical fields. The successful candidate will need to discuss their timetable with the recruiting manager.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and informative lectures in Health & Social Care and Childcare to students at various levels of their education.
- Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum standards and the needs of students.
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
- Maintain up-to-date records of students' attendance, grades, and progress.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the curriculum.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in Health & Social Care and Childcare to ensure the information delivered is current and relevant.
- A degree in Health & Social Care, Childcare, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed).
- Experience in teaching or lecturing, preferably in further education.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
