We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Payroll Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing while maintaining compliance and best practices.

Key Responsibilities for a Payroll Team Leader

  • Oversee and assist in the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with relevant tax laws, company policies, and employment legislation.
  • Manage and support the payroll team, including training, development, and performance management.
  • Act as the main point of contact for payroll-related queries, resolving discrepancies efficiently.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate payroll reports and provide data as required.
  • Identify opportunities for streamlining payroll processes and enhancing efficiency.
  • Liaise with HR, Finance, and external providers to ensure effective handling of payroll matters.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, including taxation, HMRC rules, and company law.
