Our client is seeking a Warehouse Operative for their new distribution warehouse near Oxford, reporting to the Warehouse Manager.
The role involves responsibilities such as picking and preparing orders, managing inventory, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Candidates must have previous warehouse experience, forklift certification, and a full UK Driving Licence.
The position offers a salary of up to £28,000, depending on experience, and operates Monday to Friday during core business hours.

Warehouse Operative

Our client, who are going through expansion are opening a distribution warehouse based near Oxford and keen to recruit a Warehouse Operative to report into the Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities:

Picking, preparing and completing warehouse orders for collection or delivery
Receiving and checking in deliveries
Putting stock away within the warehouse
Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to ensure stock accuracy
Perform tasks in a safe and structured way
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures
Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
Keep warehouse clean and organised daily
Serving customers at Click & Collect Desk
Picking and packing items to site or to branches within the group
Loading and unloading items on and from vehicles
Ensuring the warehouse is kept tidy at all times and is health and safety compliant

Requirements:

Previous warehouse experience is essential
To provide exceptional customer service
To be comfortable heavy lifting
Forklift experience is essential
You will need to have a full UK Driving Licence

Salary - up to £28,000 dependant on experience

Monday - Friday core business hours.
