Job Title: TIG Welder Fabricator
Salary: 30,000 - 35,000pa
Location: Aylesbury
Working hours: 7am - 4.30pm Mon - Fri

We are currently seeking a TIG Welder / Fabricator who will be working with thin gauge material including Stainless Steel, Inconel and Aluminium. Ideally suitable application will have significant fabrication experience, within the Aerospace or Motorsport sector.

  • The TIG Welder / Fabricator Must be able to demonstrate an ability to work well in a small team, but also be able to take the initiative and enjoy the responsibility of working on their own.
  • Key requirements of the role include a strict attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines, completing tasks in an often-demanding working environment.
  • Familiarity of working from technical drawings is essential.

Description of Duties

  • Ensure strict adherence to health and safety guidelines at all times.
  • To cut, assemble and fabricate/weld, for the most part in jigs, metallic assemblies.
  • To be responsible for quality and timely completion of parts to agreed standards, based upon the information in the drawings, works orders and job information packs.
  • Liaise with the supervisor ensuring they have a full understanding of requirements of each job.
  • To be responsible for ensuring the timekeeping/job tracking system is kept up to date at all times.
