Job Overview:We are looking for a proactive and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team at our Medway office. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing administrative support to our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:
    • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.
    • Schedule and coordinate work orders.
    • Maintain accurate records and update databases.
    • Liaise with drivers on various jobs.
    • Chase and ensure accuracy of reports.
    • Handle payments.
  • Customer Service:
    • Act as the first point of contact for client inquiries.
    • Provide information and resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
  • On-Call Duties:
    • Be available one weekend per month to handle emergency calls and coordinate services as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and able to commit to on-call duties one weekend per month.
  • Knowledge or experience in the drainage or construction industry is a plus but not essential.
