Join a global FMCG Manufacturer. We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee engineering and facility activities at our client's Aylesford sites. This role is perfect for someone who is a natural leader and is looking to make a significant impact in our operations.

Day-to-day of the Maintenance Supervisor role:
  • Supervise and support a team of technicians, addressing technical matters and improving service delivery.
  • Monitor and report on departmental KPIs.
  • Conduct engineer audits and deliver Tool Box Talks.
  • Manage all engineering aspects from planning to completion, ensuring productivity and product quality improvements.
  • Perform risk assessments and manage the site T-card reporting system for maintenance and breakdown reports.
  • Implement and develop new health and safety policies.
  • Conduct in-house training on best practices and safe systems of work.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and actively involve in continuous improvements as directed by management.
  • Ensure adherence to food hygiene and safety standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications of the Maintenance Supervisor:
  • Formal engineering qualification.
  • Experience in electrical and mechanical installation.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices; IOSH or higher preferred.
  • Proficient in hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Knowledgeable in food safety standards within a FMCG environment.
  • Skilled in incident investigation, risk assessments, and audit inspections.
  • Ability to deliver effective training and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication, numeracy, and IT skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel).
