Join a global FMCG Manufacturer. We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee engineering and facility activities at our client's Aylesford sites. This role is perfect for someone who is a natural leader and is looking to make a significant impact in our operations.
Day-to-day of the Maintenance Supervisor role:- Supervise and support a team of technicians, addressing technical matters and improving service delivery.
- Monitor and report on departmental KPIs.
- Conduct engineer audits and deliver Tool Box Talks.
- Manage all engineering aspects from planning to completion, ensuring productivity and product quality improvements.
- Perform risk assessments and manage the site T-card reporting system for maintenance and breakdown reports.
- Implement and develop new health and safety policies.
- Conduct in-house training on best practices and safe systems of work.
- Maintain up-to-date records and actively involve in continuous improvements as directed by management.
- Ensure adherence to food hygiene and safety standards.
- Formal engineering qualification.
- Experience in electrical and mechanical installation.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices; IOSH or higher preferred.
- Proficient in hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Knowledgeable in food safety standards within a FMCG environment.
- Skilled in incident investigation, risk assessments, and audit inspections.
- Ability to deliver effective training and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication, numeracy, and IT skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel).
