We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Assistant to join our friendly team in Larkfield. This role is ideal for someone with a Level 2 qualification in Childcare who is eager to contribute to the development and care of young children in a supportive nursery setting.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of fun, educational activities that promote child development.
  • Help to maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children.
  • Support children’s learning and social development, working closely under the guidance of the Nursery Manager.
  • Participate in the observation and assessment of the children’s progress and contribute to their learning records.
  • Engage with children during meals and play times, and assist with their personal care needs.
  • Collaborate with other staff to ensure a cohesive approach to child care and development.
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in training sessions as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Level 2 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a childcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A caring and positive attitude with a genuine interest in child development.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
