We're working with a company that specialises in delivering professional project management and consultancy services in the clean water sector. They work with major clients to provide innovative solutions, focusing on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of water networks. The services include:
·Leakage detection and mitigation plans to reduce unaccounted-for water.
·Water quality control and network operations management.
·Large statutory outages and strategic network optimisation.
 
 
They're seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to join the Commissioning Team, focusing on clean water asset services. As part of a rapidly growing company, you will work on large-scale projects across the South, including prominent engineering developments.
 
Job Summary:

The Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating tasks across multiple clean water schemes. From surveys to inspections, testing, and final handovers, you'll ensure projects meet defined timescales, quality standards, and commercial objectives. The role involves close collaboration with project teams, clients, and internal teams to guarantee the safe and successful execution of all projects.
Responsibilities:
 
·Report to the Senior Consultant and work with a "can-do" approach.
·Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
·Execute commissioning plans and oversee the project lifecycle.
·Complete Inspection and Test Plans and maintain project documentation.
·Ensure engineering designs meet required standards.
·Monitor project progress, address issues, and ensure compliance.
·Take on Site Management responsibilities as needed.
·Oversee project completion and client handover phases.
·Lead team meetings, fostering collaboration, learning, and innovation.
·Review project outcomes with a focus on continuous improvement.
 
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
·Hands-on experience supervising water main construction sites.
·Minimum 5 years of experience in the water industry.
·CSCS / SMSTS / SSSTS qualification.
·EUSR Water Hygiene and SHEA Water qualification.
·NRSWA Supervisor certification.
·Experience with valve operations, including CALM Networks.
·Proficient in IT, including GIS mapping tools, PDA/tablet use, and online reporting software.
·Full, clean UK driving license.
 
Desired:
·Confined space entry certification.
·EUSR Hydrostatic Pressure Testing (training can be provided).

·Strong practical knowledge of clean water networks.
·Ability to produce and deliver RAMS, ensuring safety and compliance.
·Leadership and mentoring skills, with the capability to manage resources.
·Proven ability to lead and complete tasks efficiently.
·Methodical approach and a team-oriented mindset.
·Comprehensive understanding of health and safety in the water industry.
·Accountable and adaptable, with the ability to handle a fluctuating workload.
·Willing to work flexibly, including day, night, and weekend shifts, as needed.
·Willingness to travel across a large geographical area.
