My client is looking for aMechanical Design Engineer to join their team and work alongside theirteam of senior engineers, due to the continued growth of the company. They'relooking for a candidate with 3+ years experience in UK residential and commercial building services sector. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a passion for mechanical engineering with the following areas of expertise:
- Good understanding of residential and commercial buildings
- Full understanding of Building Regulations, British Standards and CIBSE Guides
- Ability to undertake heating & cooling calculations using IES VE software
- Capable of completing pipe sizing calculations
- Good understanding of ASHP, EAHP & District heating networks
- Proficient in using AutoCAD, Revit is desirable but not essential
- Must be an effective communicator in both written and verbal skills
- Be able to manage their own time in order to meet strict deadlines
- An ability to follow company standards and use standard documents
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Liaise with senior members of staff to ensure that targets are met and that any issues arising on projects can be dealt with
- Preparation and reviewing of drawings completed by internal CAD team
- The role will predominately be remote, however the business may require you to travel to meet with clients.
- You will be required to be fluent in English as our clients are UK based.
- Must be located in the South-East of England and able to attend client meetings.
