High Voltage Design Engineer

Are you a Design Engineer?
Do you have an Electrical Engineering qualification or degree?
This is a great opportunity for both junior and senior candidates to join a market leading business, in a project-based Design Engineer role with multiple opportunities!
Duties include:
- Leading projects
- Producing a bill of quantities
- Liaise with design teams in order to create designs with accuracy
- Ensure all designs are produced within timescales
- Attend educational workshops to ensure knowledge is maintained at the highest level
- Provide specifications for high voltage equipment & plant
- Any other duties required
The successful candidate will have/be:
- An Electrical Engineering degree or HNC qualification
- Registered with the IET
- Previously worked with voltage up to 400kV
- A Chartered Engineer (or working towards it)
- Design software knowledge such as ETAP, Eplan, AutoCAD, Cymcap, Autodesk, Advanced Steel, SDEGS, Revit, etc. (this is advantageous, not a necessity)
- On site commissioning experience desirable.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with the design on high voltage layouts, as well as high voltage protection however, candidates with only one of these will still be considered. Due to having multiple opportunities available, more senior candidates, as well as junior candidates will be considered for this role!
