Job Summary
We are looking to recruit individuals to join our client in Aylesford.
Working hours are 08.00 - 16.30 Monday to Friday with 30 minutes unpaid lunch and two paid ten-minute tea breaks.
Duties
- Working in a manufacturing environment
- Day to day production tasks as directed by Supervisor/Chargehand, including Operating machinery, assembly, final assembly, etc. to quality standards
- Read and understand 'work instructions’ and ensure output produced complies with the instructions
- Ability to perform internal manufacturing procedures.
- Able to meet quality and output targets
- Assist with housekeeping as needed
- Be flexible in performing different duties around the department
- Adhere to Health & Safety and Company rules
- Assist others in department or other areas of production if necessary
- Any other general factory tasks
Knowledge, Experience & Qualification
- Ideally experiences in sheet metal manufacturing in a busy production environment previous transferable experience
- Physically fit, able to work with a large number of heavy items
- Team player but able to work on own initiative
- Calm in manner, with ability to demonstrate good level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise changing workloads
- Can-do flexible attitude to meet increased volumes and peak seasons
