Production Operative - Aylesford

Salary: £12.00 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 6 am - 3 pm

Our client, a well-established 5th-generation family business, specialises in producing high-quality livestock nutrition. They are looking for a Production Operative to join their dedicated team. This role offers the chance to learn, grow, and play an essential part in the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising the intake and quality testing of raw materials
  • Preparing materials for production, including filling tote bins and assembling ingredients
  • Operating mill control panels for machinery and grain storage
  • Maintaining accurate production records
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and quality standards
  • Operating a forklift truck to move raw materials and finished products
  • Performing routine machinery maintenance and cleaning the production area
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

  • Comfortable working on your feet in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to follow procedures, take initiative, and work independently
  • A team player with a flexible and proactive approach
  • Forklift truck experience (desirable but not essential)
