Are you looking for a great opportunity as a Production Operative with forklift experience? Our client, a thriving organisation, is seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join their team. This is a temporary-to-permanent position, with the potential for long-term stability and career growth. Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a counterbalance forklift, efficiently unloading and loading lorries with wooden and plastic pallets.
  • Safely store pallets using standard and euro-sized racking systems.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse.
  • Assist in the production department by manually filling bottles with hand rub and soap.
  • Pack spill packs and spill kits efficiently.
  • Aid in the blending and dispensing of granules and powders into shakers/pots.
  • Contribute to stock control activities in the warehouse.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in operating a counterbalance forklift is essential.
  • Strong physical stamina, as some heavy lifting (up to 25kgs) may be required.
  • Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organisational skills, ensuring orders and stock are accurately recorded.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive and positive mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (with an hour lunch break) or 8:30 am to 4:00 pm (with a half-hour lunch break).
