My Client based in Aylesford is looking for a Cut and Crease Minder to join there team.

Employing over 100 personnel in the design, administration and manufacturing departments. They works with global brands including Sony PlayStation, Fortnum & Mason and Graze, producing for homewares, cosmetics, food and beverage and home entertainment markets. They are accredited with internationally recognised manufacturing, environmental and quality certifications.

The successful applicant will have experience of working with autoplaten Cut&Crease machines and be capable of producing high quality work in a time sensitive environment. All applicants must be willing to work on a rotational shift basis which may include nights : 6am-2pm - 2pm-10pm rotational shift everyweek 40 hours per week with 40 minutes paid break.

Your main duties will be:

  • Make ready and run work as efficiently as possible whilst meeting safety , quality and productivity targets.
  • Complete all necessary administration including data entry onto the business IM systems.
  • Repair/amend all tooling and dies as necessary and where possible.
  • Identify any maintenance issues and resolve where possible, or communicate to appropriate personnel in line with departmental procedures.
  • Ensure quality checks are carried out as per company guidelines.
  • Responsible for ensuring the machines , tooling, auxillary equipment and working area are kept clean , safe and organised.
  • Advise supervisor of any consumable stock requirements.
  • Utilisation of the appropriate equipment to assist with material preparation.
  • Responsible for assisting department with training needs for C&C apprentices and C&C Assistants
  • Any other duties as instructed by a member of the management team
  • To comply with all business management system requirements
  • To comply with all certification requirements.

Ideally need to have experience of running autoplaten Die Cutter Cut and Crease Machines.
