A vacancy has arisen for a Goods-Out Operative to join our busy Logistics team.

Working within the Goods-out team to despatch all sales orders in an efficient and timely manner, whilst maintaining quality and keeping the equipment running efficiently; the successful candidate will be customer-focussed and will thrive working as part of a team within a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy and show commitment to continuously improving work processes and methods, proactively putting ideas forward and getting involved in change implementation.

Experience in the use of warehouse equipment and machinery is desirable.

?Responsibilities:

  • To pick orders accurately, efficiently and effectively
  • To check, pack and despatch all orders neatly and accurately, as per the Logistics Work Instructions
  • Communication with team members across multiple sites regarding order fulfilment, stock arrangements, shipment cost enquiries and other information when required
  • Maintenance of packaging material levels by communicating with the Procurement Team
  • To maintain Logistics equipment in a good working order, optimising efficiency and minimising down time
  • To maintain effective housekeeping, keeping the warehouse clean and tidy to a standard that optimises efficiency. The warehouse area should portray the Fixfast brand using 5S methodology.
  • To support the team and company’s continuous improvement and progression through contribution of ideas and regular feedback.
  • To embrace and promote health and safety and work within the guidelines set by the Compliance Manager.
