Looking for an Internal IT Support role where you have opportunity to get involved in upcoming projects?

A unique internal IT support role with a fabulous organisation where you will provide a professional technical support function on all IT and Systems related matter. Including Systems Administration, user administration, network support, hardware and software implementation and maintenance

This is a key role in the Business systems department, with the main focus being day to day IT Support. In addition to this you will have the opportunity to be involved in IT Project Implementation.

The team is responsible for providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support for network & IT services and implementation of IT Projects and data engineering services

You will be joining a small and close knit team, with a diverse group of people. We need you to be a team player but happy to work alone when required

Duties

System Administration:

  • Provide general system administration support including:
  • Leavers, joiners
  • Configuration changes
  • Monitoring
  • Maintaining security

Network Support:

  • Patching and connectivity
  • Monitoring and configuring network devices (switches, wifi routers for example)
  • Performance monitoring
  • Working with key suppliers to manage 3rd line support issues and improvements
  • Employee Support:
  • Provide helpdesk support for approximately 250 PC/laptop users, escalating to other members of the team as necessary.
  • Ensure that ad hoc guidance and advice is available to users
  • Present IT recommendations and solutions for non-technical users
  • Providing guidance and advice on Data Security to all staff

Software Support:

  • Help in the delivery of IT change projects in installing and configuring new software
  • Be the nominated administrator and expert for allocated software applications

Hardware Support:

  • Laptop and PC including deployment and repairs
  • Peripheral and other IT hardware

Essential Requirements

  • Experience of, Windows 11 and 10 Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiar with Active Directory, users, and security groups.
  • Familiar with M365 Administration

  • Intune Experience
  • Full Driving Licence
  • ITIL or similar service delivery framework
