My client based in Aylesford is looking for a Gluing Machine Minder to join there team.

Employing over 100 personnel in the design, administration and manufacturing departments. They work with global brands including Sony PlayStation, Fortnum & Mason and Graze, producing for homewares, cosmetics, food and beverage and home entertainment markets. They are accredited with internationally recognised manufacturing, environmental and quality certifications.

The successful applicant will have experience of working with gluing machines and be capable of producing high quality work in a time sensitive environment. Applicants must be willing to work on a rotational shift pattern which may including nights.

Your main duties will be:

  • Make ready and run work as efficiently as possible whilst meeting safety , quality and productivity targets.
  • Complete all necessary administration including data entry onto the business IM systems.
  • Identify any maintenance issue and resolve where possible or communicate with appropriate personnel in line with departmental procedures
  • Ensure quality checks are carried out as per company guidelines
  • Responsible for ensuring the machine , tooling , auxiliary equipment and working area are kept clean, safe and organised
  • General Machine maintenance
  • Advise supervisor of any consumable stock requirements
  • Utilization of the appropriate equipment to assist with material preparation
  • Responsible for assisting department with training needs for Gluing apprentices and assistants
  • Any other duties as instructed by a member of the management team
  • To comply with all business management system requirements
  • Tom comply with all certification requirements.

Ideally experience of running Gluing machines including but not limited to Diana,Starfold and Omega.
