IT Support Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer
The Fortune group our recruiting for an IT Support Infrastrucutre Engineer for our MSP client based in Maidstone, with occasional travel to London office. You will deal with 2nd / 3rd line technical issues as well as lead / mentor the 1st / 2nd line team. The Suitable IT Support Infrastructure Engineer should have worked previously in a technical IT support role covering 2nd/3rd line support for at least 3+ years. Additionally, the successful candidate will have shown dedication to their professional development by achieving industry recognised qualifications such as CompTIA accreditations or Microsoft MCP / MCSE and have direct experience of working with common MSP tools and technologies, such as RMM solutions, Azure and Office 365 as well as a demonstrable knowledge of market leading Cyber security solutions.
Essential experience
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft OS 7-10 and Windows Servers
- Azure AD, Active Directory, PowerShell, Windows Server & Hyper-V
- Office 365 & Azure (excellent knowledge and management experience of SharePoint a must)
- MDM Solutions
- Networking concepts TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN
- Market leading Firewalls, Switches and Wi-Fi solutions
- Market leading Backup and recovery solutions
- Market leading Cyber security solutions.
- Microsoft Intune
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- A customer focussed approach with a passion for delivering high-quality support.
- Full UK Driving Licence
