Location: AylesfordReports To: Stock Room / Collectables SupervisorHours: 6:30 - 2:30Days: Monday - Friday Position Overview:We are looking for a dedicated Stock Room Assistant to join the team. As a Stock Room Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient organisation, storage, and inventory of stock in our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining the stockroom’s overall cleanliness and order.Key Responsibilities:
  • Stock Organization: Ensure products are accurately stocked and stored according to company guidelines. Organize stock by category, size, and type for easy access and retrieval.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with regular stock counts, update inventory systems, and report discrepancies to the Stock Room Supervisor. Ensure that inventory levels are maintained and stock is replenished as needed.
  • Receiving and Inspecting Deliveries: Unload, inspect, and store deliveries in an organized manner. Verify products against shipping lists to ensure accuracy of orders.
  • Maintain Stockroom Cleanliness: Keep the stockroom neat, clean, and safe by following established cleanliness standards. Ensure proper labeling and signage is in place.
  • Assist with Order Fulfillment: Support team members by picking, packing, and preparing items for dispatch or store displays as required.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a stockroom or warehouse environment preferred, but not essential.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move products and perform tasks that may involve standing, bending, and manual handling.
  • Team Player: Able to work collaboratively with colleagues and support different departments as needed.
  • Communication: Good verbal communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
