Pearson Whiffin is actively seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join our client on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to lead and shape a purchasing function. Duties include:
- Create and implement a strategic procurement plan to support the company’s growth objectives.
- Oversee supplier performance, fostering strong relationships to ensure optimal collaboration.
- Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on metrics such as on-time manufacturing, cost savings, delivery accuracy, and supplier compliance.
- Communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Manage the creation of part numbers for purchased items.
To be considered for this role, you must have/be:
- Significant experience in procurement, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- CIPS Level 5 or 6 qualification, or over 8 years of industry experience.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- A proactive and positive "can-do" attitude.
