The Role
We are seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator to manage our Aylesford depot transport operations. This key role involves overseeing a fleet of 14-18 vehicles, leading the transport team, and ensuring on-time, undamaged deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of drivers.
- Oversee efficient route planning to achieve timely deliveries.
- Manage vehicle maintenance schedules and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments, external suppliers, and partners.
- Ensure fragile bathroom goods are correctly loaded and safely transported.
- Identify and implement improvements to transport operations.
- Uphold the company's commitment to reliable, next-day delivery services.

The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for a strong communicator and decisive leader with proven experience in transport operations. About you:
- Previous experience in a Transport Co-ordinator or similar role.
- Strong route planning and vehicle maintenance supervision skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- A focus on efficiency, accuracy, and timely service.
- Own transportation due to limited public transport links.
